Separating content from formatting

XStandard does not use color pickers or font selectors. As seen below, both generate semantically barren markup and fuse content and formatting together.

Instead, through the simple-to-use "Styles" menu, XStandard generates meaningful markup and separates content from formatting. Content authors select from user-friendly style names that apply meaningful markup to data. Formatting is applied to content through CSS which offers more formatting options and ensures consistency of look-and-feel.
